Unified light middleweight champion Jermell Charlo faces legal turmoil following his recent arrest in Texas on charges of misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Charlo's wife subsequently filed for a temporary restraining order and divorce. This isn't Charlo's first legal entanglement, as in May 2018, he faced felony domestic violence charges, later acquitted by a jury.
